Start with what you actually want to do
Not a fantasy, not a persona — the actual thing. Do you want to be touched in a specific way? Do you want to restrain someone, or be restrained? Do you want to last longer? Do you want to try something you've only ever done alone?
Products are tools for experiences. The experience comes first. That makes the shopping much easier.
You don't need much to get started
A good pair of cuffs doesn't require a matching collar, a paddle, and a riding crop. One thing, done well, teaches you more than five things bought on enthusiasm. You'll learn what you actually like, and that informs everything.
Material matters more than aesthetics
Leather that cracks, metal that rusts, rubber that degrades — these aren't just disappointing. They can be unsafe. We choose what we stock based on how it holds up over real use, not just how it photographs.
Fit is personal
A medium cuff from one maker fits nothing like a medium cuff from another. When something is adjustable, use the full range. When it isn't, measure first. A restraint that's too loose is just decoration; one that's too tight is a hazard.
Talk to someone who actually uses this
The staff here have tried most of what we carry. Not as a sales tactic — because it's the only honest way to recommend anything. If something is uncomfortable, we'll tell you. If something is worth the price, we'll tell you that too.
